White Pizza

We seem to eat a lot of pizza in our house. My husband and daughter would eat pizza every day if I let them.

I try to make pizza at home instead of going to a pizza place. I think you can manage the fat content a little better making it from home.

This recipe produces a very nice white pizza.

The bisquick and water combine very nicely to make a very simple and basic crust. There are endless possibilities on making it your own. So many herbs can be added or sprinkled on!

The crust is crisp on the outside, which I think is great. I hate when you pick up a slice and it flops over.

The toppings are fairly simple with this recipe as well.

The recipe calls for anchovies. I know, most people don’t enjoy those. My husband does.

So I made one of the pizzas with anchovies. I made a second pizza with pepperoni.

For the nippy cheese I used an herb cheddar. I had some left over from a cheese board we had a few weeks back. I liked it as it added the great cheese flavor along with some additional herbiness.

I opted to slice my onions thinly instead of grating them. I like a sliced onion on my pizza.

If you are looking for a quick and easy pizza to put together at home, try this recipe out!
