Way Too Much Horseradish

Writer: Amanda KennedyAmanda Kennedy

This is a very simple side dish.

I opted to use frozen spinach. Honestly it was cheaper than fresh. With the economy the way it is I am trying to save money where I can. I don’t think this changed the dish all that much.

The butter and cream give the spinach a nice creamy feel.

There was just enough salt and pepper.

For the horseradish, I had a horseradish sauce, which is generally more mild that straight grated horseradish root. I used the two tablespoons. But wow! It was way too much horseradish!

I think the recipe would have been better with maybe 1 tablespoon of horseradish.

It was by no means inedible. As long as you like horseradish that is. . .

SPINACH DELICIOUS

14 Ounces Frozen Spinach or 1 Pound Fresh Spinach

2 Tablespoons Butter

1/4 Cup Cream

2 Tablespoons Horseradish

1/2 Teaspoon Salt

Dash Pepper

Chop and steam spinach. Add remaining ingredients and heat through.
