This dip has some strange ingredients. First – the caraway seeds. They do not soften, which makes them a bit strange in a soft dip. They add a crunch, but I’m not so sure you need it, or would even want it.
The other spices are nice – the red pepper flakes give it a small amount of heat, but not so much that it’s too spicy.
There really isn’t much else to say about this dip. It really isn’t memorable. . .
FARMER’S CHEESE DIP
8 ounce Cream Cheese
1 Onion, Finely Chopped
2 Tablespoons Sour Cream
Pinch of Paprika
Pinch of Salt
1 Teaspoon Caraway Seeds
Red Pepper Flakes to taste
Combine all ingredients. Chill until ready to serve. Sprinkle the top with paprika.
