This reminds me of Orange Julius!
I always wanted Orange Julius when I was younger. Unfortunately, my mother would never get it for me!
My brother and I experimented and came up with a recipe to make them at home. It took us forever to get the ingredients the way we wanted. It is definitely a fond memory for me.
The only thing I would change is to add a bit of sugar to this recipe. The orange comes out very tart. I didn’t mind it so much, my husband didn’t care for it.
The sherry is almost undetectable. So you really don’t realize you are getting a bit of alcohol.
We made these at the end of a 96 degree day, so they were perfectly refreshing and delicious!
ORANGE BLOSSOM FLIPS
1 Can Frozen Orange Juice Concentrate
1 Cup Half and Half
¾ Cup Cream Sherry
1 Egg
Dash of Salt
2 Ice Cubes
Combine all ingredients in the container of an electric blender. Process until smooth and frothy.
