Classic Mid Century – this “Salad” is more a dessert.
The gelatin sets up nicely in the Jello mold.
You can layer the fruit however you want, but I choose to do pretty layers. I figured if I was making it – I would make it look nice.
The sour cream seemed strange to me. I could understand maybe whipped cream, but sour cream didn’t seem like it would go.
I was so surprised that this actually tastes good! The fruit is fresh and tasty. The sour cream actually works!
It is existential Mid Century – and it works!
