Soft and Moist

What a simple stuffing recipe!

Now that I am not making school lunches I seem to have a lot of bread on hand. I was planning on making bread crumbs with it, but this was a great option too.

I cut my bread earlier in the day and just let it sit out to dry a bit. If you didn’t have a ton of time, you could bake it lightly to dry it.

The salt, pepper, poultry seasoning and sage give the stuffing a ton of flavor. And why wouldn’t you add butter. I mean, its butter. . .

I used this recipe to stuff my Baked Stuffed Tenderloin.

I really wish there had been more stuffing. It was delicious!

BREAD STUFFING

4 Cups Dry Bread Cubes

3 Tablespoons Chopped Onion

1 Teaspoon Salt

1/4 Teaspoon Pepper

1/4 Teaspoon Poultry Seasoning

Sage

1/3 Cup Melted Butter

Hot Broth or Water

Combine bread, onion, seasonings, butter and liquid. Toss gently to mix. Stuff into poultry, beef or game to cook.
