So So Chicken

This seemed like it was going to be good. Too bad things aren’t always what they seem! I do think it is redeemable, maybe. . . .



To start, the chicken was super dry. I think cooking it twice just killed it.



The topping was very mustardy. My husband loves mustard and even he thought it was a bit much.



So, I think this could be fixed by reducing the first cooking time and adding salt and pepper to the chicken breasts at this stage.


For the topping, I would double the yogurt and leave the mustard serving size alone. I think that would cut the mustard flavor a bit.


Not sure I will try this again, it was really unremarkable.


DEVILED BROILED CHICKEN

2 – 4 Chicken Breasts

1 Tablespoons Plain Yogurt

1 Tablespoon Prepared Mustard


Broil or barbecue chicken, turning occasionally until skin is crisp and well rendered of fat, about 25 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients and stir until smooth. Spread chicken liberally with this mixture and continue to broil for an additional 15 to 20 minutes.
