There really isn’t anything super special about this dish. It’s pretty basic. . .
I used frozen corn, so it still had a little crisp to it.
I used canned lima beans, not a huge fan of canned vegetables, but I could not find fresh or frozen. So it is what it is.
The lima beans were a little mushy to be honest. In my experience, lima beans are always mushy. I kind of expected that.
The dish is well seasoned. The taste is good.
It just isn’t special.
SUCCOTASH
2 Cups Cooked Corn
2 Cups Cooked Lima Beans
2 Tablespoons Butter
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/8 Teaspoon Pepper
Combine vegetables. Add butter and seasoning. Heat throughly. Garnish with parsley if desired.
