Simple Dessert

This recipe is very simple, quick and easy. If you like refrigerator no bake cheesecake you will love it!



I had no problem getting the cheesecake to set, the gelatin did its job. As with any no bake cheesecake, it was soft and creamy. The end result was very smooth.




I served the cheesecake with some cherry pie filling dolloped over the top, and a little whipped cream.




The cake itself has very little flavor so you can really do whatever you want to jazz it up. Maybe a nice caramel drizzle. . . .



For the crust I melted some butter and added crushed graham crackers. You could buy a premade crust, but this was just as easy.



It is a very simple dessert, but it tastes good!



IT’S A SNAP CHEESECAKE

1 Envelope Unflavored Gelatin

½ Cup Sugar

1 Cup Boiling Water

16 Ounces Cream Cheese, Softened

1 Teaspoon Vanilla

9 Inch Graham Cracker Crust


In a large bowl, mix gelatin and sugar. Add boiling water and stir until gelatin is completely dissolved. With an electric mixer, beat in cream cheese and vanilla until smooth. Pout into prepared crust. Chill until firm – about 2 hours.
