This recipe is so simple! But it will impress whomever you serve it to.

I did not find thick cut pork chops. It seems to be harder and harder to get them. Most grocery stores don’t even sell bone in chops anymore. I know people want things that are simple, but cooking meat on the bone really does enhance the flavor.

Rubbing the chops with the garlic is a nice touch. You get some of the garlic taste, but it isn’t overwhelming.

Dipping the chops in butter, then the crumbs gives the chops amazing flavor.

I had six chops, so I melted a stick of butter. There was a little left over, but not a huge amount.

For the bread crumbs, I did add salt and pepper before dipping. I think this is a necessary step since the chops themselves aren’t seasoned at all.
I browned the chops for about three minutes per side. The recipe calls for them to be cooked on the stove top for 20 minutes. I opted to put them in a 400 degree oven for about ten to fifteen minutes. I had other things cooking on the stove top, so this seemed to make more sense at the time. I covered them with foil before placing the pan in the oven.

The chops were cooked perfectly, moist and delicious!
