Seasoned Pork Chops

It is so easy to over cook pork chops. When overcooked, they become dry and tasteless.

Thankfully, these were not dry! Despite the cooking time!

You absolutely need thick cut chops! I think they would easily overcook if they were too thin.

Unfortunately, it is becoming harder and harder to find thick cut chops.

The onion soup mix was a nice touch for the dish.

Mixing it with the water and sour cream provides the chops with a lovely and flavorful sauce to cook in.

Cooking the chops in sauce also helps them retain their moisture.

Sprinkling the chops with parsley gives them a nice bit of color.

I served the chops with the broccoli au gratin.
