Fudge is one of those things that can go really right r really wrong.
I have made fudge many different ways. I love the easy going quick fudge using the marshmallow fluff. It’s quick and easy and tastes pretty good.
Making cooked fudge is a little harder and doesn’t always turn out. Temperature is so important.
This fudge is a nice mix between the two!
Yes, you cook it, but you don’t have to bring it to boiling temperatures. It is virtually no fail.
The flavor is great as well! I used dark chocolate - I like it better. But you could absolutely use milk chocolate if you prefer.
The result was rich and creamy. And it was delicious!
I had to send the batch to work with my husband to avoid eating all of it!
FABULOUSLY FLAWLESS FUDGE
8 Ounces Semi Sweet Chocolate
2/3 Cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Cup Chopped Nuts (Optional)
Heat chocolate and milk in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until chocolate is melted. Remove from heat and mix in vanilla and salt. Add nuts if using. Spread into a buttered pie plate. Chill until firm.
