Another drink mix . . . I have never been big on drink mixes but I seem to be making a lot of them with this recipe endeavor.
I whipped this up for a barbecue we had on Father’s Day. It’s a nice punch alternative.
The juice gives a very bright flavor. There is tanginess from the cranberry juice, tartness from the lemon juice, and a little sweetness from the orange juice.
You don’t get a whole lot of tea flavor honestly. It’s very subtle.
It is difficult to mix in the cinnamon and nutmeg. I would recommend adding them first to the water and whisking until they are combined before adding the other ingredients.
LIPTON BERRY SPLASH
3 Tablespoons Instant Tea Powder
½ Cup Sugar
4 Cups Water
2 Cup Cranberry Juice
½ Cup Orange Juice
1/3 Cup Lemon Juice
¼ Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
¼ Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
In a large pitcher, combine all ingredients, stirring until smooth. Serve over ice.
