Really Yummy Chicken

There is a TON of garlic in this recipe. I love garlic, so that was perfectly fine with me. Don’t make this on a date though!

The chicken thighs really soak up the butter and garlic. They came out super moist despite the long cook time.

The butter soaks in and leaves a fair amount leftover in the bottom of the pan. This is perfect for dipping some bread in!

The garlic is strong, but soft. The smell in my house was lovely for the hour and a half of cooking time.

I served this dish with a broccoli soufflé and some homemade rolls. It was DELICIOUS!

GARLIC CHICKEN

1 Stick Butter, melted

20 Cloves Garlic

1 ½ Teaspoons Salt

Dash of Black Pepper

Pinch of Nutmeg

3 ½ Pounds Chicken Thighs

Place butter in a 2 ½ Quart casserole with a cover. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Remove outer skin from garlic. Add chicken to casserole and turn each piece to cover in the butter. Sprinkle garlic and seasonings over the chicken. Cover (with lid or foil). Bake for 1 ½ hours in preheated oven. Do not open the cover while cooking!
