We have mint growing in the garden this year. The plant has done exceedingly well.
The unfortunate thing is that I have a ton of mint and few things to do with it.
I saw this recipe and thought I would give it a try.
The recipe is very simple.
It is basically sautéed beans and you throw a little mint in.
The mint is not very strong. Honestly, we could hardly taste it.
So overall, it was just green beans. . .
MINTED GREEN BEANS
4 Cups Cooked Green Beans
1/4 Cup Chopped Mint
1/3 Cup Butter, Melted
1/8 Teaspoon Pepper
Combine beans with remaining ingredients and heat thoroughly.
