Mustard Slaw

It is amazing that something as simple as Cole slaw could have so many different recipes. And each recipe has it’s own unique flavor.



This Cole slaw is slightly different due to the mustard. It gives that mustardy flavor throughout the slaw.



I have also never used cream in a slaw dressing before. Using the cream gave the slaw a very creamy texture.



This slaw recipe actually saved very well too. My husband had it with his lunch twice after the first serving. The cabbage stayed crisp!



The only thing I would do differently is to add a touch of salt. Other than that, it was a nice dish!



COLE SLAW

1/4 Cup Mayonnaise

1/4 Teaspoon Salt

2 Teaspoons Sugar

2 Tablespoons Cream

2 Teaspoons Prepared Mustard

1 Teaspoon Vinegar

3 Cups Shredded Cabbage


Combine mayonnaise, salt, sugar, cream, mustard and vinegar. Blend well and chill. Slice cabbage very fine. When ready to serve, pour dressing over cabbage and toss lightly, but thoroughly.
