Meat and Cheese

I love offering small, bite sized snacks at my Super Bowl party. Something people can grab and go. No need for a fork here!

This recipe could not be more simple. Just three ingredients.

And it takes about 20 minutes or less to make - including cooking time.

I used a Jimmy Dean roll of bulk sausage. It’s simple, and already has a little spice in it.

The best way to mix this recipe is with your hands. There is absolutely no way you can mix in the bisquick with a spoon.

The end result is a bite of meaty cheesy goodness.

You get the lovely pork flavor from the sausage. The cheese melted in and around the pork, so every bite has the cheese taste.

The bisquick forms a light and soft puff. It encompasses the meat and cheese and holds everything together.

This recipe is a great and fast way to make a snack!

SAUSAGE BALLS

1 Pound Bulk Sausage

1/2 Pound Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese

1 Pound Prepared Biscuit Mix

Blend sausage and biscuit mix with cheese. Shape into balls. Place on a baking sheet and flatten with a fork. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 10 minutes.
