This is a super cheesy cheese ball!
The green pepper and pimiento provide the needed crunch.
You get a little tang from the lemon juice. The Worcestershire sauce adds a nice pungency.
The pecans add some color to the exterior, and a bit more of the crunch.
The ball comes out very creamy and smooth.
I served the ball with Ritz crackers and bagel crisps.
It was a lovely addition to our Football Sunday food spread!
PARTY CHEESE BALL
16 Ounces Cream Cheese
8 Ounces Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 Tablespoon Chopped Pimiento
1 Tablespoon Chopped Bell Pepper
1 Tablespoon Finely Chopped Onion
1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
2 Teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
Dash of Cayenne Pepper
Dash Salt
Finely Chopped Pecans
Cream together cream cheese and cheddar until well blended. Add all other ingredients except pecans; mix well. Shape into a ball and roll in chopped pecans. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 24 hours. Serve with crackers.
