Lovely Spinach Dip

There are so many different ways to make spinach dip. Hot or cold, I find it is a wonderful thing.

The mayonnaise and cream cheese give this dip a lovely and creamy base. Adding the lemon juice brightens it up and gives you a touch of acid.

The seasoning is quite nice. Each brings their own unique flavor and they all shine through.

Blending all the ingredients in a blender gives you a super smooth dip.

The spinach turns the dip into a very attractive green color.

I served the dip with some Hawaiian bread and tortilla chips for dipping.

This is one of those dips that is really easy to eat. You just want to keep dipping!

TANGY SPINACH DIP

1/2 Cup Mayonnaise

3 Ounces Cream Cheese

1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice

1/4 Teaspoon Sugar

1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder

1/4 Teaspoon Onion Powder

1/4 Teaspoon Italian Seasoning

1/4 Teaspoon Paprika

In a blender, process on medium speed the mayonnaise, cream cheese, lemon juice, salt, sugar, garlic and onion powders, Italian seasoning and paprika. Blend until smooth. Gradually add spinach and continue to blend until smooth. Refrigerate 4 hours. Serve with vegetables and crackers.
