It Really Is Delicious

How hard is it to make corn, really? I am always a little apprehensive to use simple recipes for side dishes, do I really need a recipe to make corn?

This recipe actually turned out quite nice, so maybe I am wrong about not wanting to use a recipe.

The pepper, I used a yellow bell pepper, and onion provide a very nice crunch to the dish. They also add a lovely flavor. It adds to the normal corn and makes it just a bit more special.

The frozen corn cooks well, staying somewhat crisp. I much prefer to use frozen or fresh vegetables over canned. I grew up in a household that only used canned vegetables. Frozen have nothing added to them, no water or preservatives. Especially important - no added salt. I have also found that canned vegetables tend to be kind of mushy.

Of course, everything is better with butter.
The dish was a nice blend of vegetables, well seasoned and buttery!

3 Tablespoons Butter
10 Ounces Frozen Corn

Cook green pepper and onion in butter until onion is golden. Add frozen corn and salt, cover, and cook over medium heat until corn is tender.
