Interesting Flavor

Dried beef is quite salty. All the salt in this dish comes from the dried beef. I actually thought of seasoning the chicken with a little salt. I am so glad I didn’t!



The chicken is moist and surprisingly well seasoned due to the other ingredients.




While the prosciutto does not get crisp, it does add a lot of flavor. It also helps to moisten the chicken.




The mushroom soup and sour cream mix well and melt into a lovely sauce for the dish.



When serving you need to make sure you scoop the dried beef from the bottom.



Everything melds well together and you get a well seasoned chicken dinner!




GOURMET CHICKEN

4 Chicken Breasts

8 Slices Bacon or Prosciutto

4 Ounces Chipped Beef

1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup

1/2 Pint Sour Cream

Paprika


Cut chicken breasts in half and wrap with bacon or prosciutto. Cover the Botton of a greased 8x12 casserole with chipped beef. Arrange chicken on top of beef. Blend sour cream and mushroom soup. Pour over chicken breasts. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake uncovered in a 275 degree oven for 3 hours.
