Indian Spiced Nuts

I love having snacks available for my family. Nuts, while they can be high in fat, I think are healthier than having a bowl of candy or chips sitting around.

But it can get boring!

This recipe is certainly not boring. These nuts have a ton of flavor. They also smell really good.

The recipe is also super simple. Including baking time, the recipe took 15 minutes from start to finish.

Obviously the nuts taste of curry. I used a yellow Madras curry powder. But you also get hints of the Worcestershire sauce and cayenne pepper.

I did not find the nuts to be overly spicy despite the pepper and curry.

For the nuts I used a deluxe mixed nut, so there are pecans, cashews, and of course peanuts. You could use whatever nut blend you want.

The nuts smell like a curry shop, which I do not think is a bad thing. If you like curry - you will like these nuts!

Curried Nuts

1/4 Cup Olive Oil

1 Tablespoon Curry Powder

1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1/8 Teaspoon Cayenne

2 Cups Nuts

Combine olive oil, curry powder, Worcestershire sauce and cayenne in a skillet. When very hot add nuts. Stir until well coated. Line a baking pan with brown or waxed paper. Pour nuts on paper and bake in a 300 degree oven for 10 minutes.
