I don’t think I have ever made a tuna salad with vinegar in it before.
I did not have tarragon vinegar, so I used red wine vinegar. Tarragon vinegar is not something I have ever seen at a grocery store. I do however, have a recipe to make my own. Maybe one day I will. . .
The capers were also something new to me. They added a nice saltiness to the salad.
The paprika does little, other than add a little color.
I do think the salad needed a little salt and pepper. Just a touch, but I think it would have helped.
I ended up making tuna melts as the final dish.
I think the tuna salad would have been nice cold as well.
TUNA SALAD
1 Cup Flaked Tuna
2 Tablespoons Mayonnaise
1 Teaspoon Tarragon Vinegar
1/4 Teaspoon paprika
1 Tablespoon Minced Capers
Combine ingredients. Spread on bread.
