I am always Leary making sweet dips, does anyone really eat them?
This dip is very creamy and not quite smooth, but close enough.
The pineapple blends well with the cream cheese, almost like a pineapple fluff.
The ginger gives the dip a little flavor texture. It isn’t overly spicy, or savory. The ginger just gives it a tiny kick.
The pecans provide a lovely crunch along with the coconut.
It does have a nice island feel. I served it with apple slices I dipped in lemon water, some grapes and graham crackers. By far it went best with the graham crackers.
ALOHA DIP
8 Ounces Cream Cheese, Softened
1 Cup Crushed Pineapple, Drained
1 Cup Grated Coconut
1 1/2 Teaspoons Ground Ginger
2 Teaspoons Lemon Juice
1/2 Cup Chopped Pecans
Mash cream cheese until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Chill for several hours.
