This is the first recipe I used my Cookie Starter for.
The cookie was fabulous! Even though I made a few mistakes when making them.
My first mistake - I dusted my board with flour. It worked okay, I honestly didn’t notice a difference there.
My second mistake - I didn’t dip my fork in confectioners’ sugar either. I used flour.
I am not sure how I misread the recipe so much.
Thankfully I don’t think it mattered all that much.
The cookies did not really keep the waffle shape while baking.
The cookies had a lovely citrus flavor. Not too tart, yet not too sweet either.
I am definitely going to make these again, maybe without the mistakes next time!
