Delicious Broccoli

Wow this broccoli was good!



The recipe itself is so very simple. You wouldn’t think the end result would be so good.



I steamed the broccoli for about 7 minutes in an inch of water. It was soft, but not mushy - just the way we like it.



The garlic blooms well in the oil. You get a nice subtle garlic flavor throughout the dish.



The parmesan cheese melts just enough so that it is not incorporated, but a kind of topping.



When my daughter went for seconds - she got the broccoli and not the main dish portion!



ITALIAN STYLE BROCCOLI

3 Cups Broccoli Flowerets

1/4 Cup Olive Oil

1 Clove Garlic, Minced

1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

Salt and Pepper To Taste


Steam broccoli until desired doneness is reached. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Heat olive oil in a skillet and add garlic. Add drained broccoli and sauté quickly in hot oil. Sprinkle with parmesan and serve.
