Definitely Not Store Bought!

I have mixed feelings on tartar sauce. Sometimes it is all mayonnaise. Sometimes it is all relish.



This tartar sauce is a very nice balance between both.



The ingredients blend well together. It does have chunks of pickle and capers and onions. Which I find nice.



The capers were the surprise. They add a little crunchy salty bite!



I also enjoyed the pickles. Usually you add relish, so you get the vinegar taste. With just adding the pickles, you just get the great pickle flavor.



This went so well with the Southern Fried Catfish. It was the perfect accompaniment!


TARTAR SAUCE

1 Cup Mayonnaise

1 Teaspoon Onion, Minced

1 Tablespoon Capers

1 Tablespoon Pickle, Chopped


Combine all ingredients. Chill until ready to serve.
