My husband promised his workers an ice cream social for completing a task. Well, the completed the test, so I prepared an ice cream social.
There is no social around that doesn’t include chocolate sauce!
This is a nice, full flavor chocolate sauce.
Using the unsweetened chocolate is a must. It melts beautifully, and doesn’t have any added sugars, so the sauce is a lovely, dark color.
When it cools, it does crystallize a bit. You definitely want to keep it hot while using it. I placed the sauce in a warming pan, which worked perfectly.
I stored the sauce in a Ball canning jar. This works great for storing extra sauce in the refrigerator.
