Creamy Potatoes

This is by far one of the simplest recipes I have made. And it tasted pretty good!



For the white sauce I used 1 1/2 cups of milk and 2 to 3 tablespoons of flour. I seasoned the sauce with a little salt and pepper.



The sauce gives the potatoes a very creamy texture. They aren’t quite mashed potatoes, but it is pretty close.




I did add salt and pepper before placing the potatoes in the casserole. I think I would omit this step if I made these potatoes again.




Since I seasoned the sauce, it was just the smallest bit over seasoned in the end. It wasn’t horrible but just a touch salty.



DEL MONONCO POTATOES

2 Cups Diced Cooked Potatoes

1 Cups Medium White Sauce

Salt and Pepper To Taste

Buttered Crumbs


Mix potatoes, white sauce and seasonings. Pour into greased baking dish, cover with crumbs. Bake in a 450 degree oven for 15 minutes.
