Creamy and Delicious

I used this recipe to ice my Cinnamon Rolls I spoke of yesterday.

I know cinnamon rolls usually have a very simple and basic confectioners’ sugar icing. But I think the best cinnamon rolls have a thicker cream cheese frosting on them.

This was a great recipe for the rolls. I can imagine it would be amazing on other things as well.

The frosting is a little on the thin side. This is due to the milk. But you do need the milk to help break down the cream cheese and make it spreadable.

This is easily remedied by simply adding more confectioners’ sugar until you get the consistency you want.

I ended up adding about 1/2 cup additional confectioners’ sugar.

The vanilla gives the frosting a lovely color. The cream cheese gives the frosting a nice richness.

This frosting was perfect with the cinnamon rolls!

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING

3 Ounces Cream Cheese

2 Tablespoons Milk

2 Cups Sifted Confectioners’ Sugar

Dash Salt

1 Teaspoon Vanilla

Mix cheese and milk. Work in sugar. Add salt and vanilla. Beat until creamy.
