Boozy Ice Cream

Writer: Amanda KennedyAmanda Kennedy

I had planned on making this drink several times now. Unfortunately every time I go to the freezer for the ice cream I purchased for this recipe there was no ice cream there. My husband and daughter love ice cream. And if its in the freezer they will eat it!

So I bought ice cream yesterday, and made the drink while I was cooking dinner thereby ensuring that the ice cream would still be there!

There is a lot of raspberry flavor in the drink from the raspberry liqueur. So it is a bit on the sweeter side. But I think you expect that with an ice cream based drink.

The only problem was that it didn’t make enough. I finished my small glass, as did my husband, and we could have easily poured some more. But there wasn’t any left!

RAZ MA TAZZ

2 ½ Cups Softened French Vanilla Ice Cream

2 ½ Ounces Raspberry Liqueur

1 ½ Ounces Brandy

Fresh Raspberries

Blend ice cream, liqueur and brandy until creamy. Garnish with fresh raspberries.
