Amazing Lemon Dessert

Every layer is interesting and delicious! And it really is simple!



The crust layer has amazing flavor for just the three ingredients. It is buttery and crunchy!




The cream cheese with the confectioners’ sugar is great. It provides a lovely smooth and creamy layer. Mixing the whipped topping in with it gives it a light and fluffy texture.





The pudding is pudding, so there really isn’t much to say about that. It is lemony and creamy.




You get a little crunch by adding the pecans on top of the final whipped layer.



Each layer is wonderful, but together they make an amazing dessert. It is delicious and creamy. So amazing! And it makes a lot, so you can enjoy it multiple days!



LEMON DELIGHT

1/2 Cup Butter

1 Cup All Purpose Flour

3/4 Cup Chopped Pecans

8 Ounces Cream Cheese, Softened

1 Cup Sifted Confectioners’ Sugar

3 Cups Frozen Whipped Topping, Thawed

2 Packages Instant Lemon Pudding

3 Cups Milk


Cut butter into flour until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in 1/2 cup pecans. Press into a 13x9 baking dish and bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes. Combine cream cheese and powdered sugar. Beat until fluffy. Fold 1 cup whipped topping into cream cheese mixture. Spread over cooled crust and chill. Combine pudding mixture and milk. Beat for 2 minutes at low speed with an electric mixer. Spread pudding over cream cheese layer. Spread with remaining whipped topping and sprinkle with remaining pecans. Chill. Store in refrigerator.
